The new city “Yenisehir”, is located in the vicinity of the Canal Istanbul, and is being built to accommodate about half a million people, and after entering this city by organization, agricultural land will be transformed into investable residential and commercial land.
According to a statement published by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change on its official website on Monday 17/1/2022, the request to divide the city of “Yenişehir” to include 15 of its neighborhoods was approved: Çilingir – Tayakakadın – Hacımaşlı – Haraççı – Sazlıbosna – Dursunköy – Yeniköy – Baklalı – Hadımköy – Boyalık – Yassıören – Taşoluk mahalleleri – Başakşehir (Kayabaşı – Şamlar – Şahintepe )
It is expected that the ministry will announce the conversion of taboos (title deeds) within this city into residential and commercial land in the coming days.
The city of “Yenişehir” is divided into three edicts with the aim of making it a modern city that competes with the most important cities in the world at all levels, which we will address here in detail:

6 bridges will be built along the canal to connect the two ends of the canal and the bases of the Sazlidere Bridge have already been laid the first bridge of the canal, located above the Sazlideri Dam, and a conference hall, major commercial centers and two smart cities dedicated to housing within the city will be built.

The city will have seaports, railways and 6 bridges,
In addition to the arrival of the 443 km long Kozy Marmara Street, which includes 8 tracks, where the famous street connects the European section of Turkey to the Asian section to meet the new Canal Istanbul at the Sazlidere Mara Bridge in the third etep area of the city of “Yenisehir” and then the new Istanbul Airport, adding to the city the importance of strategy and facilitating traffic and mobility for citizens.
- Health level
The “Baklali” region will be designated to host the medical tourism events for which Turkey is renowned through the development of health centers and units that include a range of specializations and cutting-edge medical services.
- Environmental level
Many water, botanical and animal parks will be built with the aim of preserving the environment from the repercussions of heavy urban construction.
- Service level
Water, gas, electricity and sanitation companies continue their work to create advanced infrastructure that enhances the strength of this city.
- Maritime level
It was planned to establish a special container port east of the northern entrance to the Canal Istanbul to the vicinity of the third Istanbul airport, one of the largest airports in the world, in addition to the construction of 3 islands of excavations of the Canal Istanbul, one on the right of the canal and two on its left from the Black Sea side.
- Real Estate Level
The city of ” Yenişehir ” is distinguished by the diversity of its real estate, where the investor can purchase land and invest it to build residences, villas, shopping malls, hotels, and restaurants to sell them later with double profits by taking advantage of the increasing prices
