In a new plan prepared by the Turkish Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, housing, trade and tourism development were identified for the lands located in Arnavutköy overlooking the new Canal Istanbul.
The Turkish Ministry approved the land division plans, which have an area of 2,726,185sqm, which is located on the shore of Canal Istanbul in the Arnavutköy area of the Dursunköy district, and put forward this plan and presented it to discuss objections to it.
The land division plan is as follows:
- Residences, commercial and tourist buildings will be built in the area which is 1,365,000 sqm, and complexes, hotels and shopping centers will also be built.
Public facilities and services will be distributed as follows:
- The educational facilities will cover 134,000 sqm
It is noteworthy that an area of 245,256 sqm, equivalent to 9% of the total area of the land which is 2,726,185 sqm, will be allocated, which will be private forests and state forests, and within the scope of the plan, the borders of two areas of forests have been preserved without changing it.
